Don't let your Husband Pick your Next Home
By Sylvia Evanson
Don't let your husband pick your next house When I moved to Boulder Colorado, it was a unilateral decision on my husband’s part. I would never have chosen a house with a yellow sponge painted kitchen, nor tiled countertops and backsplash. Do men have any clue how difficult it is to get those tiny grout filled spaces between tiles clean? Why oh why could we not have a granite countertop instead, or even concrete? I truly hate that kitchen and will simply not allow him to choose our next living space! On top of that, the previous owner painted flowers in the shape of a heart over the tile next to the oven and repeated the monstrosity on the main wall. I am a contemporary woman not a country hag. |
